Monte Rosa 2.0 | Breithorn 4141m - Pollux 4092m and Castor 4228m

The second day of my Experience on Monte Rosa - Italian Alps! In the next morning, with fresh strength, we prepared our equipment and started the summit of Breithorn Oriental 4141m, climbing time 3h with difficulty F +

Theoretically it should have taken 3 hours, but we did a little over 6 hours, because we got the wrong route and we ended up climbing on both peaks, both the West and the East.

At first we swore a little, but then we started liking it. After reaching the top and taking some pictures at 4141m, we started the descent to Rif Guide D'Ayas where we stayed overnight.

On the third day I started the summits on Pollux 4092m and Castor 4228m, the duration being 6 hours with a PD difficulty. The adrenaline was pumped to the max as we crossed this ridge. It was difficult because the wind was blowing very hard and the visibility was very low.

The snow was slipping under our feet and we were doing all sorts of scenarios in case one of us slipped. In the end we all passed without problems and we were left with the most beautiful images in mind, but also with a weight on our feet!

After reaching these peaks, we enjoyed the success and descended to the Rif Quintino Sella of Felik 3585m.
